Executive Mindshare

Riverwood Solutions understands that the complexity and cost of developing products and markets often places much of the executive mindshare outside of operations.

Executive Mindshare

The HOST model will restore balance to your organization and to your supply chain relationships.

  We will:

Provide experienced Operations executives to help you develop and implement an appropriate, scalable supply chain

Help you determine the right operations staff to have in-house for your current and ongoing needs.
Customize an outsourced Ops teams in low cost regions available to you on a variable basis to manage your supply chain and advocate on your behalf.

Optimal Alignment

The HOST model aligns the success of the OEM with the success of the HOST provider.

Often the OEM and supply base are fundamentally at odds.
The “Mark-up on product cost” model is typical in the industry. However, it reduces profit for the supplier when product cost goes down, driving the following behaviors:

“Hiding” cost savings
Fighting over the same
small piece of pie.

In the HOST model, Riverwood is paid a fixed fee to manage our customer’s business based on complexity – not product costs.
Riverwood can earn a quarterly performance bonus based on driving cost reductions for the OEM above agreed upon targets.

In contrast to a mark-up model which is about divvying up the pie, the HOST model is about creating cost savings and bringing them to our customers quickly – creating a bigger pie to share.
