What documents will I need to provide to Riverwood Solutions to being the Verified evaluation process?
We will be reviewing what we consider to be a minimal set of documents that includes the Market Requirements Document (MRD), 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, electrical drawings (schematics, gerber files, etc.), Bill of Materials (BOM), and Color, Material, Finish (CMF) requirements
Why do I need to have a Market Requirements Document (MRD)?
The MRD is a critical document that several follow-on activities depend upon. We will use the document as the basis for evaluating the overall viability of the product. If you don’t have an MRD, we ask a few questions to obtain what we consider the minimum information required to proceed with the evaluation and which would serve as the basis for a full MRD.
What if I don't have an MRD?
We will ask you a series of questions that will serve as an MRD-lite for the purposes of this evaluation. As part of the RWS Optimized offering, we will help you build out your MRD and the associated Product Requirements Document (PRD). The information that is needed includes a general product description, target retail pricing, product performance requirements, and targeted market availability.
What if I don’t have all of the requested documentation?
The documents that we request after the MRD (or MRD-lite) are the 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and and special Color, Material, Finish (CMF) requirements. If these are not available, then it's likely that the project is not yet ready for evaluation.
What of my documents are not complete?
Our team will evaluate the provided document package once all the information has been uploaded. At that time we will make a determination as to whether there is sufficient information to provide a meaningful product analysis. If not, we will follow up and provide feedback about areas that need clarification.
How long does the evaluation process take before I get a report?
Typically, a report will be delivered by the end of the second full business week after the document package is deemed complete.
What is the cost and how do I pay?
The cost for a RWS Verified analysis is $7,500 that can be paid via credit card or PayPal.
